Our hotel's conference venues in Melbourne include and two conference rooms, a Boardroom, a Private Dining Room and and two restaurants with catering available for 2 to 220 people. Our function rooms in Melbourne are perfect for corporate meetings, conferences, cocktail parties, banquet dinners and lunches, seminars and training sessions. The Spencer Room and Collins Room may be joined for larger events. Our conference rooms also feature Audio Visual equipment for presentations and training sessions.
John Batman Board Room
Located on the mezzanine level of Quality Hotel Batman’s Hill on Collins, the John Batman Board Room is an ideal venue for all your professional meetings. It can comfortably seat up to 12 persons and is furnished with large ergonomic chairs and an oval polished timber table.
The John Batman Board Room is named in tribute to Melbourne’s pioneer and a framed print of Batman’s Melbourne Deed on the wall recalls his legacy. Natural light streams in from floor-to-ceiling glass windows that overlook the hotel’s internal atrium terrace.
Audio Visual equipment, Internet access and catering options are available for hire to fulfill all your conference and meeting needs, while our attentive staff will be on hand to provide assistance whenever required.
The spacious Collins Room is one of two meeting rooms offered by Batman’s Hill on Collins. Whether you are planning a half-day workshop or a full-day seminar, this spacious room boasts facilities such as a built-in stage, AV equipment rental, capacity for up to 100 delegates in a theatre-style setting and the flexibility to accommodate more when combined with the adjoining Spencer Room.
Enjoy convenient transport connections by rail, tram or car to our function venue in the heart of the Melbourne CBD. Direct street access via a ramp to the marble tiled foyer of Collins Room will facilitate breezy conference registrations when delegates arrive from the main street.
Located on the ground floor of Batman’s Hill on Collins, the versatile medium-sized Spencer Room can be utilised for small training workshops or business events for up to 80 attendees. When opened onto the terrace, Spencer Room can also host social occasions such as cocktail or BBQ parties.
Leave our staff to take care of the finer details while you focus on meeting your event’s key objectives. Our comprehensive conference packages include delectable a la carte or buffet spreads, ranging from Working Lunch options to Plated Dinner menus. A fine selection of cold or hot canapés is also available when you prefer light refreshments for a minimum of 30 people.
Private Dining Room
On occasions that call for a more intimate setting, our hotel’s Founders Restaurant offers a Private Dining Room that can be configured into a small meeting space for up to 15 attendees or host cosy banquets for 24 guests.
The 27m2 function room features white window shutters that afford utmost privacy. Subtle indoor lighting and wicker dining chairs accentuate the graceful atmosphere while a table setting adorned with a beautiful floral centerpiece, can be arranged at your request.
Choose from a wide selection of catering options or, if you prefer, our Conference Department will be pleased to tailor a menu befitting of your event. Founders Restaurant is also available exclusively for private events after our hotel’s breakfast service at 10:00 am daily.
Terrace – Cocktail Setup
Batman’s Hill on Collins boasts a definitive address in the Melbourne CBD for your events, with various function venues within our hotel designed to meet your needs. Our airy atrium terrace, which opens out from Spencer Room, is a choice setting for small social functions and cocktail sessions.
Adjourn your corporate meeting in Spencer Room and let participants mingle and exchange business cards over a buffet lunch or afternoon tea break at the sunlit terrace. The flexible space will also be perfect for an after-work cocktail party, with beers, wines and other non-alcoholic beverages available from our beverage package list.
By day, sunlight filters through the terrace’s glass ceiling, making it suitable for informal tea breaks and lunch functions. Although you may not exactly be dining under a canopy of stars, but when cool menus and warm hospitality are always at your service, you can expect your evening event to be a sizzling one.
